Antenna Workspaces, designed by Antenna Design and sold by Knoll, is an office furniture collection that includes tables and desks, power distribution, storage and accessories. As the collection expanded, there was a need to update the collection home page to visually represent the beauty and functionality of the furniture while seamlessly telling the story of Antenna Workspaces products and providing technical information. I worked with the product manager to design and implement the layout and information logic of the webpage.
The main page needed to provide high-level information about the products, with opportunities for visitors to click into the more detailed information. At the same time, frequent visitors needed to be able to access technical product information quickly.
To achieve the balance of quick resources with storytelling, the first part of the page has a Resources section where visitors can access product cut sheets, collection-wide finishes information, sustainability information and client case studies.
After the first section, the rest of the page is organized by product category, with each product category providing a general overview of the products.
Within each category section, visitors are given increasingly more specific information about each product, with opportunities to click through to inspirational imagery or the product page. This approach accommodates the wide range of visitors that were expected to visit this page and creates different pathways to get more detailed information, if desired.
